TOURNAMENTS

We will be organizing 10-12 Tournaments per year on a monthly basis. For more competitive play (including our yearly club championship), your official USGA handicap will need to be established to compete.

This is your chance to be part of an incredible community of golfers, compete in monthly tournaments, and vie for the ultimate title: 2025 OCLA Golf Champion!

Here’s How It Works:

• Tournaments: We’ll hold one monthly tournament for 11 months, culminating in the Season Finale in December.
• Format: Low net score with an official GHIN handicap. (Maximum 30 Handicap)
• The winner of Each tournament receives 50% of the purse, the second place receives 30%, and 20% accumulates to the end-of-year purse.
• Point System: Points will be awarded based on your performance and participation in each tournament.
  • 1st Place: 100 Points
  • 2nd Place: 70 Points
  • 3rd Place: 50 Points
  • Better than 50% of Field: 35 Points
  • Better than 25% of Field: 25 Points
  • Last 25% of Field: 20 Points
• December will be our Club Championship, where we battle for the title and prize pool. Here’s how it will work:
  • To qualify, you must have played in at least three tournaments.
  • The top 4 players will start with extra strokes based on their 11-month standings during our final tournament in December.
    • 🏆 1st Place Standing → Starts with –5 extra strokes
    • 🥈 2nd Place Standing → Starts with –3 extra strokes
    • 🥉 3rd Place Standing → Starts with -2 extra strokes
    • ✅ 4th Place Standing → Starts with -1 extra strokes

This league isn’t just about competition; it’s also about fun, camaraderie, and improving your game with fellow golfers. You only need to commit to three tournaments per year to be eligible to be crowned the 2025 Club Champion. With exciting prizes, an inclusive point system, and a grand finale, it will be a fantastic journey from January to December!
